For the last two years I have been working with my good friends at Outlier to create, what I think, is an impressive archive of photos for one of the strongest young Brands on the market.
Since I first approached them, they’ve grown from 2 dudes working on a single pair of pants to a company of 8, responsible for launching and selling out of dozens of rad products. They are, without a doubt, one of the clients I am most proud of. I wear their clothes everyday and evangelize when I can about them. They ethically create functional, good-looking clothing in America. In NYC, mostly!
Most importantly though, they are awesome people. They’re friends.
Today, they released their biggest product lineup yet. Fall 2011. They have been concepting, prototyping, sewing, and fitting for the last six months, and we’ve been working on the photos for the last 2 months. This will be their finest moment.
There is a place where nature and technology intertwine like lovers to create something new. Cottons twist around nylons, wools bond to fleeces, artificial down is layered between wool knits and wovens, nanotech dosed nylons are modeled after lotus leaves, cottons are engineered so tightly they become water barriers.
At Outlier we want to create the future of clothing; to get there nature and technology must overcome their age old conflicts and weave into one. Outlier Fall 2011: In A Technical Nature.
You can see most of the collection here, and I’m attaching some of my favorite photos below:
