In 2010, I co-created Manual for Speed along with Daniel Pasley. For the next five years, we documented the spectacle of professional cycling from the inside. We embedded with teams and journalists to see what truths about the human experience would be revealed along the way. For me, documenting the entirety of the 2015 Tour de France was the culmination of the project. Twenty six races, 86 different hotels (and 1 castle), 182,435 images, and only 1 arrest over 5 years. RIP Manual for Speed. OCT newsprint zine still available if you email me.
